10/30 The last few days have been on fire with striped bass ... We had a bottom fishing trip Saturday morning for sea bass ... We picked away at Seabass and porgies. It would of been a great day but the dogfish were out in force ... We moved around from the 70-95 ft drops n it never got any better .... So we decided to go inshore for blackfish ... It was a very slow bite.. We had a striped bass trip set for Saturday afternoon but as we finished up our morning trip we got a line stuck in our prop ... Thanks to captain Scott of the Xtc he took our afternoon trip out and they clobbered the striped bass getting their limit of unders and a few overs .... Unfortunately we had to cancel our trip today to have a diver go down and get us all cleaned up.. The bass ate both this Am and again this afternoon ... As we knew this new moon put the bass on the move and on the bite .... We are all cleaned up and good to go catch some bass

11/2 Capt Tom had his group out for some bottom fishing. he said they headed to the deep reef and picked away at nice seabass to 5lbs

11/3 we had Joey and his group out today for a 1/2 day of striped bass fishing ... We got out right at sun up... Read bait n fish deep. It didn't take too long for the bunker to move to the surface ... We had a few fish on right away , pulling the hook on a few n loose some others ... We did manage some nice fish to 36 lbs today ... Thanks guys see ya soon

11/4 Today we took out our friends from the JCFD... Boy did the bass want to eat this AM... We got them on both the troll n then live lined when the bunker came up .... Things slacked off mid morning and then the gators showed up by noon... All in all a great day ...

11/5 Capt Tom had Dans group out for striped bass... it was a tough day with all the boat traffic.. the guys did get in on some good bluefish action.. thanks guys

11/6 It was a great day on the bass grounds for Bob and his crew .... Started the morning off with live lining striped bass ... It was a fast and furious bite until the boat traffic n wind picked up... The boys fought the biggest striped bass they had ever had... Average 39"-40" fish ... After that slowed down we decided to go on the troll for a bit n ended up slaying a bunch of big gator blues until the bass came back up on the bunker .....a great day was had by all... Thanks again guys

So Far This Fall the Striped Bass run Has Been up and down.. We Have had days were we have limited out on the over size bass and we have days we could not find a single fish.. The Last few days we have had hard NW winds . We Did Not find fish along the beach like i would have expected. We do have a moon this weekend and i expect the fish to be on the move again from the North...

Sea Bass is now open and we will be doing that with some charters... Don't forget Black Fish opens November 16... We do Have Some Weekdays In November Left . But We Have plenty Of December dates for tog .....

Now that fluke season is officaly over , we will focus on filling freezers with Porgy untill striped bass and Blackfish take .. Our recent bottom fishing trips have been outstanding with many limits of porgy comming over the rails... Too many sea Bass that have to be returned untill oct 22..

Our Last Fluke trip of 2016 was on September 21... It was an awesome day out there.. The boys picked away at nice fish all day long ... Tom got his personal best and Joe almost topped his ... We would like to thank everyone that fished this fluke season with us. Our Bucktail seminars sponsored by bucktail boyz really helped alot of people this year. I never seen so many personal best fish caught by so many people ... We look forward to bouncing bucktails with you all again next season.... Untill then lets go get some Striped Bass and Blackfish

8/24 It was a great day on the fluke grounds today ... Tons of life with nonstop action at most spots ... The bucktails n gulp were the key today ... Thanks again guys some real nice quality here

8/25 captain Tom Rock ran the Parker Pete out for fluke .. Despite adverse conditions joe pflueger and friends had a good day. Countless throw backs topped off with a 7 lber a 5lber and 6 more nice fluke along with 2 sea biscuits.. Numerous fish were lost with the tough bite ... Great job today guys in not so nice conditions ...

8/26 Today we had our friends from forest electric out again for some fluke n sea bass ... Picked away at shorts n keepers all day ... The keeper fluke were nice ... Biggest fluke today was just over 7 lbs today ...

8/27 Banana Bill and crew went out for some fluke and Seabass ... We picked at shorts n keepers with spurts of better catching ... The guys worked hard n bill had the largest today a nice 6.5 lb fluke ..

8/28 This morning we had bob n his boys out for some fluke ... Tough bite this am.... Then back out this afternoon for a family fun trip ... Kids were a lil nervous with the swell so we ducked in the Manasquan for a bit

8/31 Tough day to say the least ... Fished deep with a few fish , shallow and inbetween ...just not a good bite day... Tomorrow is another day .

9/1 Fishing was a little better for us than yesterday ... The guys worked Hard grinding out some nice keepers ... John had the pool fish of the group of a nice 6 lber ... Thanks again guys ... Have a nice Labor Day ... We prob will not be out until after the storm this weekend ..

since the storm we have only been out a few times .. porgy fishing has been great ... Fluke fishing has had its good days and bad.. After this sunday we will focus on bottom fishing untill the stried bass show up in Mid October
